The agreement

Lexicon is distributed through the Apple App Store and uses Apple’s Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement. That agreement governs your license to use Lexicon. This page provides a concise description of Lexicon-specific terms; it does not replace Apple’s agreement.

Lexicon Pro

Lexicon Pro is available as an auto-renewing monthly or annual subscription. Apple displays the price and billing period before purchase, processes payment, and manages renewal and cancellation. You can view or cancel an active subscription in your Apple Account subscription settings.

Canceling stops future renewal. Pro access continues through the paid subscription period. When Pro ends, larger collections remain stored locally and return if you resubscribe; the Free access described in the app remains available.

Vocabulary and source material

Lexicon is a reference and learning tool. Definitions, explanations, examples, relationships, and suggested paths are provided for educational use. Source links and attributions identify outside material where applicable; those destinations have their own terms.

Your reading captures

You are responsible for the words, passages, titles, authors, and other material you choose to save through reading capture. Use that feature only with material you are entitled to record for your own purposes.

Privacy

Lexicon’s handling of information is described in the Privacy Policy. The app works without a Lexicon account and stores its learning data locally.
